I love Budget Inn in Okeechobee, FL. Despite it being an older hotel it is kept very clean. The staff are nice people and easy to get along with. The daily and weekly rates are among the lowest in town. The rates go up during tourist season and back down in the off season. Despite ads there is no functional pool, but I'm okay with that. A light breakfast is provided (cereal, muffins, honey buns, coffee, milk). There is a decent sized, fenced-in dog area. WiFi is free. It is located on main drag and across the street is Aldi's and Pizza Heaven. Close to other restaurants, too. I can ride my bike around in the pleasant neighborhoods behind the grounds. I'm posting a photo of some of the flowers on grounds.
My boyfriend and I just relocated to Florida from Connecticut and this place was what we found. They staff here are very friendly and have went above there jobs by giving us information about apartment rentals near by and so forth. These ladies work hard and are always pleasant and smiling. I would’ve given them 5 stars because in the pictures online it shows there’s a swimming pool but apparently they had issues with the pool. Other than that this little place is a good spot to stay.
This is a little mom-and-pop Hotel but very well run very well kept in a perfect location absolutely cannot be beat for the price

This place was great. They were super nice and helped in every way they could. We were treated well. Very much worth the price. We got 3 rooms for 2 nights.
Cute clean and affordable little place. Easy to get into and sleep. Front desk was quite helpful and even unlocked right at closing time to accommodate us with a room!
This place really affordable. They clean every day. Plenty parking space and the best is t the center of the city. The only cons I found is the pool. It HAVE NOT POOL. they has before but now is clousured and filled with sand. But if you don't mind about that this place is very clean.
The manager Beverly was more than helpful..needed a place to charge my phone after traveling all day and car charger stopped working..Tired/Frustrated she let me use a charger while I booked my room and didn't have to go out of her way as well as having fresh coffee made which was much needed after driving all day.Definately a kind understanding lady
